While it’s not available yet (or even visible) on Dell’s North American websites, Japan got first grabs to the new Dell Inspiron One 19 desktop system.

All-in-one and looking much like the iMac (just in black), its definitely more sleek and attractive than past models. Here are some quick stats on the new desktop:

  • Windows 7 Home Premium
  • 18.5-inch 1366 x 768 LCD display
  • Choice of 2.6GHz or 2.93GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processors
  • 2 or 4GB RAM
  • 320 or 500GB SATA hard drive
  • DVD burner
  • Six USB 2.0 ports
  • Integrated webcam

As for the prices, the lower-end model with 320 GB of hard drive space, 2 GB of RAM and the 2.6GHz processor will sell at 69,980 yen (~$770) in Japan, while the higher-end version with 500 GB-sized hard drive, 4 GB RAM and the 2.93GHz processor will be 84,980 yen (~$930). Those are high prices for Dell computers in the United States, so hopefully the price will drop whenever it makes it over here.
