HP may soon add a third notebook to its MacBook-targeting Envy premium thin-and-light laptop family, which currently includes 13-inch and 15-inch models.

Is a forthcoming Envy 14 model on the horizon? Eagle-eyed Notebook Review forum members found support documents that mention the laptop, a good indication that the laptop is on its way. Two Envy 14 models are listed in the documentation, but no specifications are, well, specified.

I’ve always preferred smaller-sized laptops — my current machine is a 13-incher, upgraded from a 12-inch system about a year ago. But the 14-inch size is starting to become popular. Which do you prefer?
