Wassup? the magic battery mystery
CNET’s Michael Kanellos smashed into a tech mystery today. This isn’t about the largest prime number or even the square root of George W’s total budget deficit. No, this is far more elusive.
What’s up with EEStor?
This is a company based in Texas, where so many of the current era’s mysteries have begun, from
Enron to Alberto Gonzalez’s law career. This firm has Kleiner Perkins investments according to Michael. But Kleiner fails to list the EEStor in its portfolio online.
Michael did track down their one patent: “Yet another aspect of the present invention is that the coating of aluminum oxide and calcium magnesium aluminosilicate glass on calcined composition-modified barium titanate powder provides many enhancement features and manufacturing capabilities to the basis material.”
Wow, I want some of that…but the mystery is where and when can I get it?
