Tech distie Ingram Micro teams up with EPEAT
If you’re a technology product reseller, here’s another reason to buy from distributor Ingram Micro: the company’s product database now includes the EPEAT (Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool) ratings information for rated products that it sells. For now, EPEAT (which is maintained by the Green Electronics Council) covers desktops, notebooks, monitors and integrated systems; the organization is working on adding servers. EPEAT covers information such as the materials used, energy efficiency and relevant policies for recycling or refurbishing technology at end of life.
