ASL Recycling, which runs a network of “GREENspot” e-waste drop-off sites in California, has opened up 23 new locations in the past month bringing the total number of GREENspots in the state to 149. The operation figures it has handled approximately 8.3 million pounds of e-waste through its GREENetwork. The link that I’ve provided includes a location finder. (They’re all over the state.)

The list of things that you can leave in one of these sites includes: televisions, mobile phones, audio-video component equipment, computers, microwaves and other electronics equipment.
