Lean follows green: Cisco-sponsored survey suggests green IT initiatives won't entirely resist economic downturn
Slightly more than have of U.S. business leaders believe certain IT products can help their companies become more green. But that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re doing something about it.
A survey of 1,200 business leaders conducted by Zogby International for Cisco back in December 2008 finds that many companies (45 percent) still don’t have a green strategy of any sort. About 16 percent say their green strategy is working, but more needs to be done.

Approximately one-third of those survey report that their green strategy WILL NOT be deterred by the current economic climate. But almost the same number said they have identified other strategies they will emphasize during this downturn and are unsurve how they will follow through. Another 15 percent said their green strategy has been shelved for the time being.
