New Toyota hybrid promised

Despite the current global slump in care sales, Toyota expects to have a future. To that end there are reports in Japan that the car maker’s planning a new hyrbid model that will sell for 20% less than the Prius. That would put the base price of this new Toyota at just over $20K.

Toyota’s new hybrid would launch in 2011 to compete with the relaunched Insight from Honda.

Well, I'd probably grab that offer if there's enough reason to get it. If they decided to have some additional metro molded antenna mount bushing to the design, well.. let's bring it.
