GM + Segway = 2 seats + 2 wheels

General Motors, not dead yet, and Segway are hoping to sell an electric 2-wheeler that seats two. It goes over 30 miles on a single full charge, and is aimed at the uptown market.

Being catty the partners are marketing the new vehicle under the name Project PUMA, for Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility.

Here’s the Segway press release on PUMA. There is no launch date yet. Segway says the price shoul dbe less than current small cars.
