Now we need the science of sea ice
Here’s a look at how one American scientist has brought observation and math to the study of sea ice. It is physically quite different from glaciers, ice sheets and other forms of ice that originate on land. And global warming makes it imperative that we have some understanding of how sea ice will behave.
