Commercial-scale biodiesel has problems of a different sort. In the U.S. a tax credit is going away. And Europe is hitting U.S. made biodiesel with an import tariff. In Montana, Sustainable Systems is over $1-million in arrears to biodiesel foodstock suppliers. That’s despite even larger subsidies from the state.
