The Kansas state denial of a permit to build another coal-burning power plant will not get repeated in Ohio. Ohio’s state EPA boss says he’ll not rule out another coal plant because of CO2 even though any coal plant produces large amounts of CO2 emissions.

Back in Kansas the state official who ruled out the new coal plant is keeping mum. State Health and Environment Secretary Roderick Bremby today issued his written ruling. Expecting lawsuits, he made no public comment.
It’s evident that the battle in Kansas will lead to legal action.
Here’s the original blog when the ruling was issued a week ago in Kansas.
