Chicago became the first major American city to ban baby bottles made of BPA, a potentially toxic chemical that leaches into milk, water or soft drinks. It is the 7 inside the triangle on the bottom of the bottle that should alert you to BPA. For years even some high-end sports bottles were made with BPA-leaching plastics. I blogged about this BPA crud last year. So did our ZDnet healthcare blogger.
