This one is way out of my normal realm, but because my husband owns three motorcycles (none of the cafe-style bikes in this picture, though), I HAD to post this fun photograph from Brammo, which makes electric-power motorcycles.

Best Buy is going to be Brammo’s corporate sponsor for a two-bike team in the first “carbon-free” TTXGP race on the Isle of Man on June 12, 2009. Avid bikers know that this is THE place to ride. I’ve only been to a teensy rally myself, but my step-brothers have both been to the Isle of Man festivities at least once each.

The motorcycles in this picture are Enertia race bikes.

So how does one manufacture, charge, and race a motorcycle completely "carbon-free"? The very existence of this useless race caused much carbon to be used/released.
