Verari blades now handle six-core AMD Opteron processor
The scalable BladeRack 2 X-Series blade server line from Verari Systems now supports the long-delayed six-core Opteron technology from Advanced Micro Devices. The chips are engineered to provide up to 30 percent more performance, depending on the application, while running within the same thermal envelope as BladeRack 2 systems configured with the quad-core edition.
