Don't inhale, Part Deux
Another revelation in the case of the odorless but possibly dangerous FEMA trailers. Some Katrina victims have been living in more than forty-thousand of these trailers for over a year. Now some residents are suing FEMA which has been a little slow to respond to their request for air quality testing in the trailers.
FEMA, a little slow? I know it’s hard to comprehend. But this is the same FEMA that barred its own employees form going into stored, unused trailers because of the formaldehyde venting. And as we blogged earlier the formaldehyde problem is not just in those government trailers, it’s buyer beware for many wood products and furniture containing certain glues.
Meanwhile some of FEMA’s house guests have insisted on different housing and have been moved into apartments or motels.
