We’re talking cars here, not corn crops or soybeans. But still, sexy and green tech? That’s the so-far unproven claim from Honda. They are launching a hybrid sports car, CR-Z, in February, 2010. The car will use the same drive system already used by Honda’s Insight and hybrid Civic.
You can find a photo gallery of the CR-Z here, and judge for yourself if it’s “sexy.”
Honda will also launch a hybrid Fit late in 2010.
Late to the party but now underway: all the German automakers are coming out with hybrids soon. The first in this country will be the Mercedes S-400 arriving in September.
