Electrics from Japanese carmakers

Honda is the latest Japanese carmaker to promise electric cars for the American market. No launch date given. Here’s the rundown so far: Nissan will release its Leaf here next year. Mitsubishi released its i-MiEV earlier this year. Toyota will have its first electric in 2012.
Ford has released its first all-electric, a delivery van. GM’s Volt is due out in about a year.
