Smart grid player Trilliant snags more support from IBM

Smart grid technology developer Trilliant has integrated its management platform and tools with IBM’s WebSphere and Tivoli product lines. This isn’t a simple technology support relationship: Trilliant is actually including WebSphere and Tivoli in UnitySuite, which is essentially a data center level dashboard that is focused on companies working on the grid. The developer believes that WebSphere and Tivoli will help enhance the scalability of its tools. Besides, it is sort of hard to argue with IBM’s enterprise software installed base.
