Fujitsu certifies racks and towers for Energy Star 1.0 spec

In case you keep track of stuff like this on your procurement checklists, Fujitsu has certified four models of its Primergy tower and rack servers (the S5 series) as compliant with the EPA’s Energy Star 1.0 server specification. They are the TX200 S5, TX300 S5, RX 200S5 and the RX300 S5. Among the features that helped the technology earn its label: improved air take and system cooling,  more energy-efficient power supplies and power server management functions.  Here’s more detail about the systems.
