Another university embraces desktop power management

Power management software company BigFix has scored a 15,000-license deal with Texas Southern University. The school expects to save about $225,000 per year in energy costs (which translates to $35 to $45 per managed endpoint per year). The details of the deal, which is being deployed by IT services company Tenabes, are at this link.
