The Climate Registry is retooling its greenhouse gas emissions reporting system through a partnership with Misys Open Solutions. The new system, which should be available early in 2010, will be used to track information for municipalities, businesses or other organizations. Anyway who joins the Registry will have free access to the application BUT only if they voluntarily and PUBLICLY report their emissions. There are about 340 members involved in the organization today across North America. So, anyone submitting their information will be able to generate more comprehensive emissions reports than previously possible.
