I’ve written a couple of blogs about the energy-related features in Windows 7. (The latest post was my “Balance of Power” treatise back in July.) Here’s the latest update via this video on the SmartPlanet sister blog network. The Microsoft representative is Rob Bernard, the company’s chief environmental strategist. Among the highlights are information about battery optimization, and how Win 7 makes better use of Bluetooth or DVD features by keeping them turned off until they’re called upon.
