Energy measurement to go: Onset intros portable energy logging system
Onset, a company in Massachusetts that has sold more than 1 million data loggers since its start-up in 1981, has introduced a portable version of its technology called HOBO Measurement & Vertification System.
The product comes in a rugged carrying case with magnetic feet for mounting, and it is billed as a “portable energy logging system for measuring, analyzing and documenting building energy performance.” The portable edition of HOBO can be used by energy consultants or building managers to track metrics for chillers and heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) units. IT comes in a single phase model, which is priced at $999, and a three-phase model, priced at $999. More product details are at this link.
