A British look at global warming denial

And this examination takes us back to the Norsemen and their settlements in Newfoundland and Greenland. And that pesky issue of the Medaeval Warming. And the semantics and geography of “Vinland.” The writer correctly connects anti-global warming sentiments with anti-government sentiments. I’d say toos in a strong resentment against those who set themselves up as experts, this time it’s scientists. But to many folks the climate science experts can be interchanged with financial wizards who brought us the Wall Street debacle, or the brilliant interntional affairs and military experts who have given us the Iraq and Afghanistan morasses, or the thousands of investment wizards who poured billions into Bernie Madoff’s leaky boat.
