Firefox 3.0 final available for download today
Updated: This is the day that Firefox users (and those waiting for the new release to become Firefox users) have been waiting for - Firefox 3.0 final has hit the Mozilla public FTP server. The browser will be officially available for download here June 17 at 10am PDT. and is available for download [UPDATE: FTP links removed at the request of Mozilla.].
If you can’t wait for the official release, Softpedia have Firefox 3.0 available for download.
[UPDATE: As of 10:14PDT the Mozilla website is returning Http/1.1 Service Unavailable. GetFirefox is also down.]

Some notes:
- This version is identical to RC3 release.
- When you install and fire up this for the first time, it will load a page saying that this is an RC - this will change once the release is official.
- Release will be official on June 17th, 10:00am PDT. Things will go official then.
- IMPORTANT! Downloads from FTP server will not count towards the Guinness World Record attempt for the most software downloads in a day. If participation in this event is important to you, wait for the official release.
