Psystar.com offline ...

It could just be a coincidence, but as of the time of writing (4:00am PDT, 07/16) Psystar’s website appears to be down.

hm_img_applepystar.jpgFollowing yesterday’s revelation that Apple had filed suit against the Florida company, it wouldn’t surprise me if the either the company itself has pulled the plug on the website, or is Apple has taken steps (spikey bat style) to take the site offline. Either way it’s gone, and from where I’m looking at the Internet from, it’s been down for some time.

Anyone else able to access Psystar.com?

I’ll keep you posted …

[UPDATE 6:15am PDT: Some readers are claiming that the Psystar website is accessible. I still can't see it after trying several approaches. According to ComputerWorld, the site was experiencing difficulties yesterday.]

[UPDATE 12:20pm PDT: The website now seems to be up and down intermittantly.]

[UPDATE 6:50am PDT 07/17: Site's back up again.]
