Grab yourself a 64GB solid-state drive for $99

Here’s a pretty good deal from Newegg.com … buy an OCZ Core Series 64GB SATA II solid-state drive for $169 and get a $70 rebate. Final cost of drive - $99.

I’m normally no fan of rebates (because you end up having to jump through too many hoops) but this is a really sweet deal for anyone looking to pick up a cheap SSD.

Here’s the spec for the drive;

  • Read: up to 143 MB/sec
  • Write: up to 93 MB/sec
  • Seek: < 0.35ms
