Leaked Kindle 2 images show a sleeker, thinner, more rounded device
With only hours to go until Amazon is expected to unveil the second-generation e-book reader Kindle 2, genuine-looking images are circulating the web.
[UPDATE - More info on the new Kindle 2 here.]

At first blush the new Kindle looks sleeker, thinner, incorporates rounded corners and has a revamped button layout.
To go with the revamped Kindle 2, rumors are circulating that Amazon has secured a new Steven King book as a temporary exclusive.
The real issue for the Kindle 2 is not how good it is, but whether Amazon can keep up with consumer demand. The current Kindle has been out of stock since November of last year, which means that Amazon missed out on Holiday sales. It seems to me that Amazon is currently wasting much of the love it’s getting from Oprah and her loyal followers.
