Apple lifts lid on new-look "talking" 4GB 3G iPod shuffles
Earlier this morning the Apple Store was down. When it reappeared there were new iPod shuffles on display.

So, what’s new?
- 4GB, 1000 song capacity
- New-look form factor
- Up to 10 hour battery life
- New VoiceOver feature - at the press of a button this new feature can tell you what song’s playing, who’s playing it, and even read out the names of your playlists for you
Currently only available in black and silver light gray and dark gray. The size is 45.2mm high, 17.5mm wide and 7.8mm thick.
One downside - this new shuffle locks you into using Apple’s headphones because of the built-in remote. This would annoy me big style.
Price is set at $79.
Older 2nd generation iPod shuffles are still available for purchase.
