Boy Genius, ace tipster he, has obtained an AT&T Mobility memo to AT&T stores about what to do on the day the iPhone goes on sale.

First, they should really, really think about physical objects such as stansions that will help with crowd control.

But what really jumps out at me is the amount of interference AT&T Mobility will run for in-mall stores whose landlords bitch and moan about why these stores are going to close for 90 minutes beginning at 4:30 p.m. on June 29.

And once the rush starts at 6, the AT&T Mobility mall stores will stay open until 10 p.m.

You know what? That’s not long enough. They should stay open until the last - what was the name of that device again, oh yea, iPhone- is sold out.

Or maybe the 10 p.m. closing assumes that all AT&T Mobility stores will sell out of the thingie and then it might be time for everyone still on line and cool their jets?

What time should AT&T Wireless stores close on iPhone day?
