Today, Yak Communications has announced two VoIP packages.

Collectively referred to as Yak WorldCity VoIP, these are two of the most attractively priced plans I’ve seen lately.

VoIP Caller is $9.99 a month. You get Yak member-to-member calling anywhere in the world, free 3-way conferencing, call lineID blocking, and videophone calling. International rates are two cents a minute to several countries.

VoIP Communicator is $14.99 a month. You get all the above features, plus a phone number for free inbound calls, caller ID, call waiting, call forwarding, voicemail and Unified Messaging.

You get your choice of a digital voice converter for your existing phone, or a download of the Yak-X10 configured "softphone" software.

Sounds like a good deal to me.

Now how much does Comcash want again?
