OK, OK, maybe I overdid it with my doodlin’ Google Earth-YouTube mashup.

But now, here’s a mashup that has a practical use.

SnagIt-Skype.

I’ve been using SnagIt as my screen capture tool for several years. Just upgraded to SnagIt 8.2.

In doing so, I’ve noticed a cool feature I am just going to have to try.

That’d be the ability to upload SnagIt screen captures directly to a Skype session, and to people in your Skype contact list.
In just one application, you use SnagIt to take a screencap- say, of a Power Point slide or portion of an Excel sheet.

Then you upload to your Skype session via SnagIt’s new Output tool.

You can download the plug-in here.
