While at Fall Von 2007 I was briefed on Internet telephony services and solution provider SightSpeed’s new SightSpeed Business product.

Released earlier this week, it is being marketed as the first cost-effective, easy-to-use video conferencing solution for business.  It runs over a VoIP connection with average U.S. internal rates of two cents a minute, with some international rates at that level as well. Plus, SightSpeed Business is portable for those users with a webcam and a broadband connection.

I haven’t yet tried the product, but my willingness, and daresay eagerness- to do so is enhanced by the feature list.  To name just one example, 04incallfilesharing.jpg in-call file sharing  is a necessary and available option.

SightSpeed for Business also has a flexible and powerful Administrative console, with multiple options for managing SightSpeed users in the enterprise, building and sharing SightSpeed contact lists, ability to track calling and usage patterns by individual employee, plus the option of exporting your data to .CSV files (which can then be converted to Excel files).

Pricing begins at $19.95 for a single user monthly sub, or $189.95 for a year. There are multi-user subscription packs available as well.
