Big news.

Apple’s anticipated new 16GB 1Phone is available beginning today for $499 at the Apple and AT&T Mobility sites, as well as Apple and AT&T online stores.

No price change (yet) on the 8GB  iPhone model, which is still $399.

Just in case you are interested, a new 32GB iPod touch is available through Apple channels for $499.
