Om Malik, a blogger most of us respect for his breadth of knowledge, expertise and experience, writes that the Sprint lawsuit against Vonage is "much ado about nothing."

Om seems to be picking up a rising tide of opinion from the Blogosphere that the real reason for this suit is, as fellow VoIP blogger Mark Evans writes, "I’m thinking Vonage CEO Jeff Citron is so anxious to create a liquidity event he’s probably willing to dance with Sprint legally if it leads to an acquisition."

I was one of the first- if not the first to write about the advisability of Sprint buying Vonage. If I am right…I will reserve the right to be insufferable for at least a few minutes, OK?
