Back in the day, NBC demanded YouTube pull the unauthorized clip-culture video from YouTube, along with about 500 other pieces of NBC owned video content. Today, NBC has its own branded YouTube channel.

NBC’s channel at YouTube was apparently not the route taken for the upload of last night’s SNL parody of Steve Job’s Apple iPhone announcement at Macworld, however.

Fellow ZDNet blogger Jason O’Grady points to the SNL clip at YouTube.

Last night’s SNL skit can be found at the YouTuber “exiva” channel. Exiva says he is 20 years old and from the United States. His channel features eight videos; In addition to the SNL iPhone skit, four on Wii, two on Bulova and one on the Apple iSight.

In less than 16 hours, exiva’s SNL iPhone skit copy upload has garnered more than 63,000 views, earning exiva a YouTube most viewed video honor today.

Exiva has been a YouTuber for nine months. His other seven video uploads are true “broadcast yourself” home-grown clip culture videos: “Wii Shop “Hack,” Why the Wii Forecast Channel Sucks…
