Microsoft announced on April 27 that it was cutting the price of its Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS) – the Microsoft-hosted bundle of its Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Office Communications Online and LiveMeeting Online services — through the end of June.

From Microsoft’s press release:

“(S)tarting today, Microsoft is offering a 25 percent discount on the Business Productivity Online Suite to customers who purchase it by the end of June 2009. More information about the services and global availability can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/online.”

Just last month, Microsoft expanded the trials of its BPOS offerings. Today marks the offical final launch of the first version of BPOS.

EDS has begun to integrate BPOS into EDS Workplace Services Offerings. EDS and Microsoft will jointly deliver services based on Microsoft’s stable of hosted service offerings, Microsoft also announced on April 27.
