Help Microsoft come up with a cool product name
The LiveSide.net guys are wondering aloud whether Microsoft might pull a Hotmail and revert to a previous product name for Windows Live Folders.
Windows Live Folders is a file-storage service. Microsoft commenced limited beta testing of Windows Live Folders in late June, after years of hinting that it was set to launch such a service.
Windows Live Folders was originally codenamed “SkyDrive.” Might Microsoft dump the boring Windows Live Folders beta name and roll out the final version of the cloud-storage service under the “SkyDrive” brand?
Such a move wouldn’t be completely unprecedented. Hotmail became Windows Live Mail, only to revert back to Windows Live Hotmail.
The Live team needs all the branding help it can get.

Other write-in ideas welcome, of course.
