Celio REDFLY appears at online retailer storesI have reviewed and mentioned the Celio REDFLY Mobile Companion here on my blog a couple of times. I just read on the Celio blog that you can now find the REDFLY at online retailers, including Amazon.com (affiliate link) for US$499. The REDFLY is primarily focused on the enterprise market and you can purchase bulk units from them directly, but it is great to see the device now hitting more standard retail channels where consumers may also start to pick them up.

If you are interested in the REDFLY and want a chance at winning one for free, then I recommend you head on over and visit Dieter’s WM Experts post where he mentions they are having a contest to give away a REDFLY to one lucky person. They also have a new forum up for the device. Their store is also selling the REDFLY now in their Smartphone Experts store front. UPDATE: The Smartphone Experts store now has a price drop of US$100 on the REDFLY so you can pick it up for US$399.95, which makes it much more compelling IMHO.

Celio Corp has also been working to expand the officially supported Windows Mobile devices and as you can see they have drivers in beta for devices like the T-Mobile Dash, Motorola Q9 variants, and AT&T Blackjack II. I understand they are also beta testing Windows Mobile 6.1 drivers. I continued to hold out hope they will be able to provide S60 and iPhone drivers in the future as well.
