Zune 3.0 is now available, also get free WiFi access at McDonald'sMicrosoft announced the Zune 3.0 software last week and today you can download and install the new desktop and Zune device software update. I just finished installing the desktop software and plan to update my black 4GB Zune soon too. The Zune 3.0 software includes Buy from FM, wireless access to the Zune Marketplace, and more.

In addition, Microsoft announced that Zune customers can get free WiFi hotspot access with their Zune at one of over 9,800 McDonald’s restaurants. In partnership with Wayport, Microsoft is letting you browse and access the Zune Marketplace when you visit McDonald’s, similar to what the iPhone gives you at Starbucks locations. Now when will we see the Zune’s appearing in Happy Meals?
