Giveaway: Submit a photo for a chance to win a pair of Ultimate Ears super.fi 5 Pro earphones
I posted my thoughts on the Ultimate Ears super.fi 5 Pro earphones last month and after my wife took the ones I had I went out and purchased another pair for myself, which was the first time I have paid over US$50 for a pair of earphones. You may have heard James Kendrick and I talking about them on a MobileTechRoundup podcast as well. I personally think they absolutely ROCK and thanks to the great folks at Ultimate Ears I am going to give away a pair of these US$250 MSRP super.fi 5 Pro earphones here on The Mobile Gadgeteer.
Mike from Ultimate Ears came up with this idea and I really like it because it gives you a chance to participate actively in the giveaway, help select the winner using the new ZDNet blog poll feature, and should be lots of fun for readers. The contest starts today, 9 November, and will run until Black Friday, the 24th of November. So you have two weeks to email me at palmsoloATgmailDOTcom a captivating photo of yourself enjoying music. You must actually submit a PHOTO to be considered a valid entry and can't just send in your contact details. Please don't PhotoShop yourself on the Great Wall of China or anything and submit original actual photos. Please put PHOTO CONTEST in your email subject so I can ensure your email doesn't get trapped in spam. Only one submission per person please. You can submit one (1) photo of you skiing on the slopes with your favorite tunes, dancing at a club in London, enjoying a concert at an outdoor amphitheatre, etc. I'll go through all the photos Thanksgiving weekend and then select the top 5 finalists. I'll then post them in an image gallery on the blog here with a poll for readers to vote for the winner. We'll keep the poll open for a week and then I'll tally the votes and announce the winner on December 2nd. This contest is open to anyone in the world so it should be enjoyable seeing what kind of photos we get submitted to the giveaway. These headphones would make a great Christmas present for yourself so get out there and submit your photo.
