There will be lots of news coming out of the 3GSM World Congress event being held in Spain this week and we've already posted lots of Windows Mobile 6 news. Nokia also made some major device announcements that include model updates and a new Communicator for the enterprise user. The Nokia E90, E65, and E61i are three new devices for the enterprise market. The Nokia N77 adds DVB-H TV to a high end multimedia devices. The Nokia 6110 Navigator allows you to get GPS navigation and location based services on a small form factor S60 device.

I am particularly very interested in the Nokia E90 Communicator that provides a large QWERTY keyboard in a flip-open style device. The E90 is the successor to the 9500 and 9300 series. All About Symbian posted lots of details on the E90, including the specs that show the E90 could almost serve as a laptop replacement. The E90 runs S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 so there are plenty of third party applications available for the device, where the S80 9500 and 9300 lacked a large third party market. The device should be available in the second quarter of 2007.

The Nokia E65 is a slider phone is already available in some markets and looks a lot like the multimedia N73 device, but with more of an enterprise focus.

The Nokia E61i builds upon the E61 device with a new keyboard design and high quality 2 megapixel camera. I may have to sell my Nokia E61 and upgrade to the E61i since I really do like to have a good quality camera on my phone for those quick snapshots to capture unplanned moments. The E61i should be available during the second quarter of 2007.

An Nseries device was also announced by Nokia today with a unique feature we haven't seen from Nokia yet. The Nokia N77 multimedia computer features DVB-H for mobile television viewing. The N77 also includes a 2 megapixel camera, 3G radio, and S60 3rd Edition software.

Nokia also announced the Nokia 6110 Navigator device that brings together GPS and AGPS (assisted GPS) functionality in a single device that should also be available in the second quarter of this year. The Nokia 6110 Navigator also runs the S60 operating system and provides full featured navigation functionality with voice guidance. The device supports 3G connectivity and has a 2 megapixel camera.

Which Nokia device do you look forward to?
