Handmark's Pocket Express is an application and service that provides news, sports and weather for free and 411 services, movie times and reviews, street-level mapping, directions, stock info, and Oxford dictionary definitions for a small monthly fee. It is a very handy experience that is available for Palm OS, BlackBerry, and Windows Mobile devices. Handmark made an announcement at CES revealing that the fourth edition of Pocket Express will be coming soon and offering you a complete assortment of travel data and services.

Express 411The fourth edition of Pocket Express includes flight status, OAG flight schedules, hotel search, currency conversion, and travel phone numbers in the Pocket Express Travel channel. As a regular traveler myself, I look forward to trying out these new features on my devices.

Handmark also promoted their new original content feature that was actually launched when the NCAA tourney tipped off earlier this month. Their new content provider writes under the pseudonym of Red and can be checked out on the Pocket Express blog. Red provides commentary and opinion on your device or online and sports fans may enjoy the banter.
