Samsung Q1 UltraIt has been almost a year since I have had my Samsung Q1 UMPC and I have been thinking about selling it the last month or so. Now that the Samsung Q1 Ultra looks to be starting at US$799 my motivation for selling my Q1 is even greater. The longer battery life (minimum 4.5 hours as stated by Samsung), the higher resolution (1024×600) display, the QWERTY thumb keyboard interface, and more are enticing enough to me to drop the older Q1 that I paid US$300 more for a year ago. While US$799 more still be high for many people, it is a LOT less than the US$2,000 that the OQO Model 02 and other high end portable computers are selling for right now. I'll be checking the online retailers and ordering one soon.

Thanks to the guys at GottaBeMobile for the news. Stay tuned to their site for more in-depth coverage of the device they have known about for some time too.
