One of the all-time greatest games on mobile devices is Bejeweled from PopCap Games. I just read on Mobility Site that they are now offering this classic on the Apple iPhone through the Safari browser. All you have to do is visit www.popcap.com on your iPhone and Bejeweled will appear. You can get instructions on how to play or select to play a new game. I played a couple games and then tried jumping out to other apps and turning off the display and then coming back to the game 15 minutes later and the same game I was playing was still active. Bejeweled looks awesome on the large display in portrait mode, but isn’t really playable in landscape orientation. You can play it in landscape, but there is lots of scrolling needed and the pieces are blown up too big to really look that good.

I also discovered the iFuntastic 2 application that Jason mentioned today and immediately loaded it on my MacBook Pro. Unlike the iPhoneRingToneMaker application I previously talked about this application runs on Intel Macs. As you can see in the image below, I modded my Home screen application layout using iFuntastic. I look forward to seeing what other hacks they come up with in the future. Just be sure you are comfortable taking the risk when you try these applications as there is the potential to brick your device so make sure to read and follow the instructions carefully.
