Separated at Birth: Borg Queen and Creepy Palm Pre Girl

I love Hi-Def eye candy TV ads. But in Palm’s case, they give me the willies. And I finally figured it out, they want to turn us into a willing army of albino-esque techno robots that are constantly navel gazing at FaceBook and Twitter. And who does that remind you of? No, not iPhone users. They at least have skin tone. I’m talking about The Borg.

Yes, the Borg, the fictional Pseudo-race of mindless half-machine, half-humanoid cyborgs from Star Trek. Like social media addicts on crack, the Borg are constantly connected to their “Hive Mind” and suffer a complete emotional and mental breakdown if separated from it.

Why the Borg Queen and the Palm Pre Girl are similar:
Borg Queen:
Has no skin tone and creepy, beady eyes.
Is kinda sexy in a S&M way but creeps you out.
Has access to cool technology and billions of minions.
Palm Pre Girl:
Has no skin tone and creepy, beady eyes.
Is kinda sexy in an anemic way but creeps you out.
Has access to a cool smart phone and billions of viewers.
That being said, I think if given the choice of girlfriends, I’d choose the Borg Queen. Talk Back and Let me Know.
