Frugal Networker Ken Hess and I start the new 1-Hour format of Frugal Friday with a half hour of news discussion (Conficker.C, Rackable purchase of Silicon Graphics, Microsoft vs. TomTom settlement) and a half hour of discussion with our special guest, Elissa Fink of Tableau Software, a company that specializes in affordable Data Visualization software which provided needed assistance to the District of Columbia’s CapStat program, which was administrated by recently appointed Federal CIO Vivek Kundra when he was CIO of Washington, D.C.
