OK, I admit it. I doubted.

But Powerset is already bringing value to Microsoft Live Search results.

Frederic Lardinois over on Read/WriteWeb picks up on a post to the Powerset blog, and takes a look at some of the current Powerset-powered enhancements to the result set.

Technically different to what SearchMonkey is enabling at Yahoo!, in some ways ‘better,’ and in some ways ‘worse.’ Which would most consumers pick, most of the time, to fulfil most of their needs? Assuming, of course, that Microsoft can draw one of those putative searchers away from Google or Yahoo! and get them using Live Search in the first place… Right now, I’m not sure, but watch this space as it gets interesting.
