Flight Attendants Want Porn Banned from Wi-Fi Flights

Now we know the real reason why everyone wanted Wi-Fi support on planes.

According to Bloomberg.com, American Airlines attendants are pushing their employer to ban porn and other inappropriate material from being accessed by passengers on flights testing out a new Wi-Fi service. It’s a tricky situation since a woman may be quite uncomfortable sitting six inches away from a guy watching a porno on his laptop, but it also raises issues about whether airlines should be in the business of filtering content. Then again, the alternatives is for flight attendants having to turn into what their union spokesperson calls “moral policeman” who’ll need to monitor if passenger are offending their neighbors with the sites they surf to. (Though they already have to do something like this with regard to a passenger’s excessive alcohol consumption.)

Regardless of the solution to this issue, it leaves the question unanswered: How horny do you have to be that you need to watch pornography on a plane ride with people sitting near you and flight attendants walking by you in the aisles?
