Zotob: Starting to feel a little bit like Nimda.

It is finaly cooling off in the Midwest and East. What a yucky hot humid summer it has been! I have been on the road for what seems like a year now (OK, 9 weeks). Just long enough to get that roadmesia: waking up in a dark hotel room and not remembering what city you are in.

People are starting to cancel meetings at the last minute. I was in the pacific Northwest on September 18, 2001. The first meetings in the morning were disrupted by everyone’s pagers going off and the CIO sticking her head in the conference room and clearing it out. Nimda. The rest of the trip was a waste of time. Everyone was too busy to meet a Gartner analyst.

The same thing is happening right now. People are rushing off to emergency meetings. Calls are canceled. Could it be Zotob wreaking havoc? I think so.
